C.E. Marking
With the purpose of harmonizing the different
existing conformity evaluation procedures and in order to eliminate
any obstacles to free circulation within the European Union (UE),
a New Focus policy and the CE Marking were introduced. In this
way, CE Marking is an indispensable requirement for product marketing
in any EU country; in addition, once it is placed on a product,
it indicates its conformity with the essential requirements set
out in the Community Directives.
Compliance with harmonized norms grants the presumption of conformity
with the essential requirements, thereby allowing the CE Marking
of given products and the fulfilment of the relevant Directives.
Electrical Appliances Safety Testing Laboratory (LSAE). One of
the LSAE’s main targets is to support Spanish companies
in complying with the new focus of the European Directives on
CE Marking.
